At Caesars, we are committed to offering a safe and responsible online gambling experience for players in Ontario, in accordance with iGaming Ontario (iGO) and the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).

Gambling should always be a form of entertainment, not a source of harm. We encourage all players to set limits, understand the risks associated with gambling, and seek support whenever needed.

Legal Age Requirement

In Ontario, it is unlawful for any individual under 19 years of age to participate in sports wagering or iGaming.

Caesars Sportsbook & Casino excludes minors (persons under the age of 21) from gaming, so we will always ask for proof of age during the registration process.

Caesars strictly prohibits underage gambling. Any suspected breach may result in immediate account suspension, closure, forfeiture of winnings, and reporting to regulators as required by law.

Preventing underage gambling is a shared responsibility, and Caesars encourages parents and guardians to take an active role in monitoring access to online gaming services. If you know someone under the age of 21 who is registered with us, please contact us immediately at responsiblegaming@caesarssportsbook.com.

Understanding Problem Gambling

Problem gambling is characterized by a loss of control over gambling behavior that may lead to financial, professional, emotional, or social harm. Like other behavioral addictions, it can affect individuals regardless of age, gender, background, or financial status.

Problem gambling may involve patterns of denial or concealment and can escalate when individuals attempt to relieve stress or recover losses through continued gambling, creating a harmful cycle that affects personal, professional, and financial well‑being.

Problem gambling is treatable, and early recognition significantly improves outcomes.

Self‑Assessment

Identifying with several of these behaviors, particularly four or more, may indicate gambling‑related harm and is a strong reason to seek professional support.

- Frequent thoughts about gambling

- Increasing bet sizes beyond financial comfort

- Repeated unsuccessful attempts to reduce or stop gambling

- Irritability when trying to cut back

- Gambling causing strain on relationships or employment

- Relying on others for financial support related to gambling

If these behaviors are familiar, we strongly encourage seeking professional guidance.

Use of external self‑assessment tools is anonymous, and responses are not collected or retained by Caesars.

What is pathological gambling?

Pathological gambling has been listed as a recognized psychological disorder in the international classification systems DSM-IV and ICD-10 since 1980. It is defined as persistent, recurring and often increasing gambling despite negative personal and social consequences such as debt, breakdown of social relations and impairment of professional development.

When should behavior be considered problematic?

We would like to stress that diagnoses relating to clinical disorders can only be made by trained specialists. The information provided above will allow you to quickly assess and consider your own behavior.

Self‑Exclusion

Caesars offers a Self‑Exclusion program that allows patrons to voluntarily exclude themselves from gambling activities for a defined period of six (6) months, one (1) year, or five (5) years, or permanently, in accordance with Ontario regulatory requirements. A self‑exclusion request applies to all Caesars platforms and privileges for the duration of the exclusion period, including loyalty benefits, marketing communications, and promotional offers, and may extend across Caesars‑operated properties as permitted by law.

During the exclusion period:

- Account access will be restricted

- Marketing communications and promotional offers will cease

- Rewards and loyalty benefits will be suspended, if applicable

When you enroll in the Self‑Exclusion program, you will be logged out of your Caesars account immediately and will not be able to log in or place bets for the duration of your self‑exclusion period. Any active betting session will end at the time you self‑exclude. If you self‑exclude before an event or series of events has started, any wagers placed on those events will be refunded. If you self‑exclude after an event or series of events has already started, wagers will not be refunded, as required by regulation.

If you self‑exclude, you may request the return of any unused balance remaining in your account. Requests are processed in accordance with Ontario regulatory requirements and standard identity verification procedures. Caesars securely maintains records of self‑excluded patrons, as required by law, to support the proper administration of the Self‑Exclusion program. During the self‑exclusion period, active measures are in place to prevent access to the platform. If an attempt to access the site is identified, access will be promptly restricted in accordance with the Self‑Exclusion agreement.

Gambling Myths and House Advantage

Gambling outcomes are based on chance. Each wager is an independent event, meaning past results do not affect future outcomes. Rolling specific results, hitting a jackpot, or seeing a pattern in previous spins or hands does not increase or decrease the likelihood of a particular outcome occurring next. Beliefs such as being “due for a win,” relying on luck or rituals, or gambling more frequently to improve outcomes are common misconceptions and do not influence games of chance. While skill may affect outcomes in certain skill‑based or hybrid games, over time all casino games will trend toward their mathematical house advantage.

Common myths include:

 - Being “due” for a win

 - Recovering losses by gambling more

 - Believing rituals, streaks, or strategies can influence random outcomes
