Credit and Debit Cards FAQ:
Can I save my credit/debit card number on the Horseshoe app?
For your convenience, the Horseshoe app will save your debit/credit card number and expiration date for future use. When you return to the cashier to deposit, you can just enter your CVV to reuse your preferred account. If you do not want your debit/credit card number saved, just click on the trash can icon to remove the account. You can always re-enter the same card or a new card in the future.
Why was my credit card declined?
Be sure to check the billing address information you provided matches the information on file with your banking institution and the CVV is correct. If the information is accurate, your bank may not support the payment at this moment. Unfortunately, some major providers of US credit cards are currently declining transactions on regulated gaming websites. You can attempt another transaction if you have a different card or try an alternate payment type.
Does my bank charge a fee for a credit card deposit?
Because gaming websites convert credit card transactions to cash deposits, your bank may consider this a cash advance and charge a cash advance fee. Horseshoe does not control this fee or derive any benefit from the additional charge. For any questions regarding bank fees please contact your bank for more information.
Can I use my Caesars Rewards Visa Credit Card?
Yes, we can accept Caesars Rewards Visa Credit Card to fund your Horseshoe Casino and Sportsbook account. The deposit will be treated as a cash advance on your Caesars Rewards Credit Card account and will not earn Tier Credits. A cash advance fee will apply, and interest will accrue immediately.
*Subject to credit approval. Caesars Rewards Visa Credit Card accounts are issued by Comenity Bank pursuant to a license from Visa U.S.S Inc. Visa is a registered trademark of Visa International Service Association and used under license.
Why is my Credit Card deposit failing?
Credit card failed deposits can happen for many reasons. The two main reasons are:
- Some credit card banks do not permit funding to real money gaming accounts. If this is the case, please contact your credit card’s bank for more information.
- Due to state regulations some states only allow debit card deposits and do not allow credit cards to be used to fund your account. To find out if there are any restrictions to this payment method in your state, please refer to the “State Payment Method Restrictions and Regulations” description above.
